RESULT = BASE + BACKGROUND – 2 * BASE * BACKGROUND
Very similar to “Difference”. Blending with white inverts the base color values, while blending with black produces no change. However, blending with 50% gray produces 50% gray. Alpha has no effect on this Blend Mode. Notable Values: White = Invert colors. (1+X-2X = 1-X); 50% Grey = Produces 50% grey; Black = Keeps all colors the same. This blend mode is non-commutative.
